Coverage by hurricane

How have Caribbean newspapers covered hurricanes and other disasters over time? The dLOC as Data team has undertaken a project to identify specific storms mentioned in these papers. Note that coverage of hurricanes often occurs long after the storm itself, with references to long-term impacts, recovery, and points of comparison to later events.

Clicking on a storm below will take you to a list of relevant newspaper excerpts, with additional information on storms and locations. Note that excerpts contain substantial errors resulting from the text scanning process.
